De-Tox Tubes (also know as Toxi-Tubes) are intended for efficient extraction of a wide spectrum of drugs and their metabolites including drugs of abuse. De-Tox Tubes have been formulated in such a way that they provide consistent and maximum extraction of a large number of drugs.

De-Tox Tubes are available as De-Tox A and De-Tox B Tubes. De- Tox A Tubes are intended for the extraction of basic and neutral drugs such as analgesics, antidepressants, stimulants, tranquilizers, and other drug classes. De-Tox B Tubes are intended for the extraction of acidic and neutral drugs such as barbiturates and hypnotics.

The colorless top organic layer in the De-Tox Tubes containing the extracted drugs can be aspirated and the drugs concentrated by evaporating the solvent. The extracted drugs can be separated, detected, and identified by many analytical techniques available.
